PRAYER LETTER - NOV. 09
Dearest Partners in Christ,
We hope this letter finds you rejoicing in the Goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Well, here it is already November! Where has the year gone? We are just tying up on some last projects of the summer with roofing and sidewalks. The kids are back in school and we are on to do some wood hauling and winterizing buildings & vehicles for winter. We had a little early shot of winter last week as we had about 4 inches of snow. It was nice while it lasted. It is all gone now and the sun is back out and has warmed up somewhat. We had a few families come over and load up firewood last week. Down to the last bit of it now have to make another run some time soon.
A couple of months ago the Lord provided us with extra help for “His” ministry here at Bisti. The Lord sent a young lady, Rebekah Dobbs from Fort Worth, TX to help us here through the winter months with home schooling, teaching Sunday School class for the younger children, preparing food boxes, piano and guitar lessons and home visitation. GLORY, GLORY, GLORY!!! This has sure taken a load of Rhonda and our younger two kids are excited in having a new teacher besides their mother.
My mom (Mary Benally) and Rhonda are praising God for the much needed funds provided to get running water into the church and dining hall. We thank Chinook Baptist Church, Pasco, WA for being a BIG blessing. In feeding over 150 people a month it is tough to try to wash dishes and pans. Mom has been hauling dishes and pans home for years now, washing them at her home and bringing them back. A new sink with a cabinet has been installed in the church kitchen so that has been a big blessing even though we don’t have the running water yet. Rhonda and mom say they are getting spoiled. Just a little bit of paper work to do, get the remaining supplies and then we will be able to tap into the water line. No more hauling water buckets home to get water, YEAH.
We have also started the process of getting our own land lease for our family. The funds have been provided and the paper work all signed. All that needs to be done is an archeological survey of the place. We are excited about getting our own place. My brother, Clifford has allowed us to live in his house for the past few years which has been a big blessing, but we are truly looking forward to building our own place. Praise The LORD!!!!!
We had our 22nd annual Camp meeting on Sept. 24th -26th. We had a wonderful time in hearing
God’s Word and believe many were challenged and their hearts touched about their walk with the Lord. We had two Navajo men who have been truly faithful over the years to be speakers for us, Bro. Jimmy Atcitty, pastor of White Rock Baptist Church and Bro. Tully Butler, pastor of Cedar Hill Church.
With Christmas coming upon us quickly we are again asking that you partner with us to be a blessing to the Navajo people. Please pray about giving to Christmas for the Navajo by donating a toy, stuffed animal, socks, gloves, toiletries, flashlights, batteries, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cups, sending a gift card that we can get gifts with or by a monetary gift. Make all checks to Native Vision for Christ and memo it for Navajo Christmas or if you would like to be a blessing to our personal family this Christmas you can send gifts marked for Benally family Christmas. We realize that times are tough and more in some places but we also realize that OUR GOD is able to PROVIDE!!!! He is FAITHFUL and never leaves us nor forsakes us. He is ALWAYS with us even through the toughest of times. We THANK YOU for being a BIG BLESSING!!!!
We have also been notified by a few churches that have been impacted by the economy that beginning in the new year they will be cutting back on our support. Instead of just dropping missionaries they have decided to cut back on monthly support. We have had a couple of churches cut back already but a majority will be coming at the beginning of the New Year. For us it is going to be a cut back of nearly $600.00 a month. So at the beginning of the New Year we will hitting the road trying to raise additional support. We will be re-visiting some supporting churches we have not been too in awhile and Lord willing to be able to get into some new churches. If you know of any churches in the NC, Virginia, TN, GA and Alabama areas please give us a call or e-mail us. Please pray that the Lord will open some doors for us.
Thank you for your prayers and support as we strive to get the Message of HOPE to the Navajo Indians.
Again as we started this letter with you our Partners in Christ, we know and realize that it is only God who puts us together to partner for “Him”. Your Prayers, Support and Love are an encouragement to us from “Him”, THANK YOU, Keep it up. GOD BLESS!!!!!
Yours for Navajo Land,

Ya'at'eeh (Hello),
Well it has been nearly 2 1/2 months since we have posted anything so we will try to catch up here.
Since our last post our daughter has had a miscarriage. We thank you for your prayers.
Here is our latest Prayer letter and will be posting misc. pictures from the past couple of months.
Dearest Partners in Christ,
We hope this letter finds you rejoicing in the Goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ!
What a blessing as we continually experience God’s Blessing’s and Goodness here in Navajo land, for it is not us but God at work. It just blows our mind when one says that if only God would do or show me something out of the extra-ordinary then I would believe. Here in Navajo land we see God’s extra-ordinary hand at work every week. If those that don’t believe would just open up their eyes and their minds which have been blinded by the things of this world, then they would truly see the blessings and goodness of God. His blessings and goodness is all around us, all we have to do is have faith and believe.
God’s blessing and goodness came to us last month when New Life Family Church from Texas came and helped with some work projects. A foundation was poured for a new church auditorium and bathrooms, a barn-style storage shed was built to help differ the cost of renting 2 storage buildings. It is a 12 x 32 building which will help with storing donated clothing, furniture and other items. We also had the church kitchen, dining hall and the Hogan (our old fellowship building) tiled. Praise the Lord, what a blessing!!! We were able to help in some of the Navajo homes also. Some of the projects were to re-cement (kind of like stuccoing) the outside walls of a home, carpet and tile installed, interior of home painted, sheep corrals cleared, burned ash piles removed and had one empty house that was full of junk cleared and cleaned out. Many are still thanking us but we keep telling them it was not us but God and His goodness.
Another blessing was the revival services and the VBS services. What a wonderful blessing for the Spiritual food that was given out nightly, but also through God’s goodness we were able to give out 44 food boxes one evening. What a blessing to be able to see God’s hand of provision each week. It’s just like the 5 loaves and 2 fishes, when God is in it we see His blessings and the big blessing of seeing the 12 baskets left over. GLORY! Truly little is much when God is in it.
Rain has been another of God’s blessings this year. We have had quite a bit of rain this year and just seeing the grass green and grown is a blessing. Horses and cows have been plenteous as many are grazing around our home each day. We had so much rain one evening that we kind of felt like we knew what Pharaoh went through when he had the plague of frogs. Frogs were in the roads and out croaking all night long.
For us personally the biggest blessing was when one of the young ladies of the church Lendora Gleason, came and said, she felt like the Lord was leading her to start working with the teens in church. She started with 3 teen’s giving themselves the name of FREAKS (Freely Rejoicing Everyday About Knowing our Savior). Just this past week they had an outing of going to the lake and had 12 young people. WHAT A BLESSING!! Please pray for these young people as they strive for a closer walk with God.
As of this writing we are praying about hitting the road the first part of next year to do some deputation for a couple of months. We will be re-visiting some supporting churches we have not been too in awhile and Lord willing to be able to get into some new churches. If you know of any churches in the NC, Virginia, TN, GA and Alabama areas please give us a call or e-mail us.
Thank you for your prayers and support as we strive to get the Message of HOPE to the Navajo Indians.

will upload more pics later.
Have a wonderful day,
Till Next Time, STAY FAITHFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya'at'eeh (Hello),
How Good the Lord Is!!!!! He has truly blessed here in Navajoland.
Had 25 mothers show up for our Mother's Day service Sunday evening.
The youngest was 24 and had two that were 83 which were the oldest that
evening. Morning service we had a mother that was 94 years old. What blessing
these mothers have been and their faithfulness is a wonderful example. May God
Bless all these Mother's.
Have been working on the outside picnic shelter at the church. A couple of the men
have been coming over on Friday's the last couple of weeks and welding. Have been
helping with what I could and this past Friday went to pick up a piece of pipe and I pulled my back out of
place. Went to the chiropractor yesterday and had an adjustment. Helped a bit but have to
go back Wednesday morning. Thank you for your prayers.
A couple of weeks ago went to Holbrook, AZ to pick up some donated items
given by a motel. There were some tables, mirrors, comforters, pictures, a couple
of dresser drawers all of which were given to the folks here at Bisti. How good the
Lord is.
Some landscape photos of our drive home from Holbrook.
Thank you for your prayers,
Till Next Time,
STAY FAITHFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
